REGINALD D HUNTER

“This is comedy of a rare scope!”
- Times
"Compelling onstage charisma. He remains a towering presence in absolute control!”
- Evening Standard

The youngest of nine, US born Reginald D Hunter began his foray into stand-up comedy when dared to do an open mic. Receiving £100 on the spot, the rest as they say, is history! Nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award in 2002, 2003, and 2004, he took home the 2006 Writers’ Guild Award for Comedy, for his show “Pride and Prejudice... & Niggas!”.

His TV appearances have included Have I Got News For You?, and two series of the BBC2’s hugely popular Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South & Songs of The Border, documenting Reginald’s epic road trip through 150 years of American popular song. Reginald’s career in comedy comes of age this year as he enters his twenty-first year of performing in the UK. During that time he has become one of the industry’s best-known performers for his distinctive take on the most diverse range of subjects.

CAREY MARX

"Comedy of the most cerebral variety"
-Herald
"Awkward misfit Marx has a genius for the unexpected and hilarious left turns"
-The Guardian

A veteran of the circuit, Carey Marx concocts his own blend of dark humour with mischief and glee. His willful disregard for the controversial and taboo is tempered with his ability to find joy in the most unexpected places.

Having played all the most prestigious clubs and festivals in the world, Carey has also performed in every continent and claims to have traveled more in his life than he has stood still.
In 2012, he had a heart attack and - because he's a comedian - wrote a highly acclaimed show which described his battle back to health, cementing him as Britain's top heart attack comedian.
